Mission Statement

As a massage therapist, my mission is to provide a safe and welcoming space for clients to receive high-quality treatments that address their individual needs. I am committed to promoting wellness and relaxation through the power of touch, and I strive to create an environment that is both professional and caring.

Appointments

All treatments are by appointment only. Clients can schedule appointments online or by phone, and payment is due at the time of booking. I require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancelations or rescheduling.

Medical Consent

If you have an existing health condition, I require written medical consent from your doctor before administering any treatments. This is to ensure that your massage is safe and tailored to your specific needs.

Cancelation Policy

If you need to cancel your appointment due to a serious unexpected event or illness, you will not be charged. However, if you fail to show up for your appointment or cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged 50% of the price of the treatment. This is due to room hire commitments and lost time that cannot be filled at short notice.

Hygiene and Cleaning

I take hygiene very seriously and adhere to strict cleanliness standards. All equipment and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between clients, and fresh linens are provided for each treatment. Hand sanitiser is also available for clients to use before and after their treatment.

Scope of Practice

As a massage therapist, I have specific training and expertise in the field of massage therapy. While massage therapy can have many benefits, it is important to note that I do not diagnose medical conditions, perform spinal manipulations, or prescribe medications. If you have any questions or concerns about your health, please consult your doctor before scheduling a massage.

Therapist/Client Boundaries and Safety

Your comfort and safety are my top priority. I maintain professional boundaries with all clients and expect the same in return. Any inappropriate behaviour or requests will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the session. In addition, if at any point during the treatment you feel uncomfortable or in pain, please let me know so I can adjust the pressure or technique. I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who I believe may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or who is exhibiting abusive behaviour.
