Pregnancy and Post-natal Massage Treatments

60 minutes / £55
90 minutes / £75

It is possible to combine any type of massage treatment with a holistic facial treatment for 60 or 90 minutes. This allows you to enjoy the benefits and luxury of a spa-like treatment.

Pregnancy and Post-natal Massage can provide a much-needed sense of relaxation and support during this transformative time.

Pregnancy massage can help alleviate common discomforts such as back pain, swelling, and fatigue. It can also help improve sleep, circulation, and overall well-being.

Post-natal massage can aid in the recovery process after childbirth, helping to reduce tension and discomfort in the neck, shoulders, and back.

In addition to the physical benefits, pregnancy and post-natal massage can also provide emotional support and bonding for both mother and child. The nurturing touch of massage can help mothers feel more connected to their bodies and their growing baby, and can also foster a sense of relaxation and stress relief.

Before your first Pregnancy Massage session, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire to ensure the treatment is safe and suitable for you.  Pregnancy Massage is performed differently than traditional massage, with you lying on your side and being carefully draped and supported with additional pillows for your comfort and the safety of your baby. If you are having a healthy pregnancy without any major risks, a Holistic Facial Treatment can also be recommended and performed in a semi-reclining position. However, there are certain contraindications to massage that apply during pregnancy, and in some cases, it may not be appropriate.

Post-natal massage is performed similarly to traditional massage, with the added consideration of any post-delivery discomfort or issues. If post-natal massage is performed soon after the birth, a suitable position will be considered to reduce any physical discomfort while laying on the massage bed.

Pregnancy and Post-natal Massage

“I suffered hugely in pregnancy with Pelvic girdle pain and no matter what I tried I couldn’t relieve it. A friend recommended Veronica and I booked in. Veronica was thorough to understand the specific needs and was able to relieve the pain instantly. She shared her knowledge too which helped me to understand how to manage the pain too, however, just one massage and the pain was relieved almost instantly, that’s why I rebook with her. Not to mention curing my carpel tunnel issue in my arm and hand. I am confident in her helping me and feel very supported when she goes above and beyond to help.”

"I came to Veronica whilst mid way through my pregnancy. I had a lot of discomfort in my lower back, and hips particularly, and was also concerned about the circulation in my legs as I had previously had cramp in my calves repeatedly in previous pregnancies.

Veronica was extremely skilled at delivering 90 minute pregnancy massage that helped alleviate my pains. I didn't experience any bouts of cramp whilst I had massages during the last 4 months of my pregnancy. My hips were also notably improved, particularly in comparison to the pain I'd had in previous pregnancies.

I had my treatments at Woolpit Clinic and the treatment room and atmosphere was excellent.

I have already recommended Veronica's pregnancy massage to a number of pregnant friends of mine, one of whom who has already been to see her! She has a real passion for helping mums-to-be and I love the focused effort she is trying to make in the mum and baby field of massage. I wish her every success, and suggest you all book a treatment with her ASAP!"
